The house built from the rock
This straight-lined house is located within rocks. It stands discreetly on the rock, keeping its personality, while sheltered and protected by the environment.
Intertwining volumes
The two main blocks of the house are intertwined. The spaces merge and generate a single volume in staircase, while the interior plays with several heights in plant. Visually, the construction is in tune with its surroundings and adapts to the slope.
The slabs have been made bi-directional, so that the structure is lighter and does not pose a problem.
Clean line design
The custom design of this home required us to pay special attention to the proportions and finishes. The straight lines intertwine on the ground and draw a modern house. The perfection of the edges, and the defined and marked angles, unify the volumes of the house and the infinity pool.
Integration with the environment
The large 12-metre windows allow enjoying the surroundings and bring light into the rooms. The landscape envelops and embraces the volume of the house to integrate it in the land.
The sandstone-coloured materials allow and facilitate this integration. One of the priorities was not to build a volume unconnected with the exterior space, but to create a harmony of spaces.
